Oculus Rift

The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset.

Functioning

The Oculus Rift images show a single screen split in half, with each half presented to each eye separately. Importantly, the left half of the screen is presented to the right eye, and vice versa.

You can think of the images as being a second monitor attached to the screen. So you could use PsychoPy, OpenSesame, MATLAB, etc. to program your experiments with it.
